This Privacy Policy explains how Meenakshi Software & Applications ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal information when you use our website meenasoftwareapp.com and our Android app (together, the "Service"). The Android app opens the same website, so this policy covers both.

By using the Service you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account details: your name, email address and password when you register. Passwords are stored only as a secure one-way hash; we never see or store your actual password.
Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access to your Gmail, Drive or other Google data.
Profile and billing details: optional company name, GSTIN and billing address that you add for invoices.
Orders: the services you order, your project requirements and any notes you write.
Contact messages: your name, email address, subject and message when you use our contact form.

Information collected automatically

Session cookie: one essential cookie (msa.sid) that keeps you signed in and protects forms against forgery. It expires after 7 days. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Server logs: our hosting provider (Google Cloud) records technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and troubleshooting.

We do not use third-party analytics or advertising services, and we do not collect location, contacts, photos or other data from your device.

2. How we use your information

To create and manage your account and sign you in
To receive, quote, deliver and support the services you order
To send you emails about your orders, quotes and enquiries
To issue GST invoices and meet our legal and tax obligations
To reply to your messages and provide customer support
To keep the Service secure and prevent fraud and abuse

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the Service, and only for that purpose:

Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Firestore, Secret Manager) hosts the website and stores your data, in the Mumbai (asia-south1) region.
Google Workspace sends our order and enquiry emails.
Google Sign-In verifies your identity if you choose to sign in with Google.

We may also disclose information if required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.

4. How we protect it

All traffic to the Service is encrypted with HTTPS. Passwords are hashed, secrets are kept in Google Secret Manager, and only authorised staff can access customer data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using reasonable industry practices.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Order and invoice records may be kept for up to 8 years, as required by Indian tax law. Contact messages are kept for up to 2 years. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Your rights and choices

Access and correct: you can view and edit your profile and billing details at any time on your profile page.
Delete your account: email yatindrasharma@meenasoftwareapp.com from your registered email address with the subject "Account deletion request". We will delete your account and personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep by law (such as invoices).
Withdraw consent or complain: you may withdraw consent or raise a concern by contacting us. Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Children

The Service is meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be announced on the website.
